In recent days, the market research specifications have been published which will lead to the identification of who will be responsible for the engineering and architectural services for some of the works envisaged and financed in the project for the village of Cesi.
“We are proceeding with our offices in compliance with a very tight time schedule that – as known – all the works envisaged in our project have to be completed by 2026”, says the councillor for public works Benedetta Salvati.
The project, presented by the Municipality of Terni which was awarded one of the 21 financings of 20 million euro in Italy in the context of the Line A Village Plan, selected by the Umbria Region and then by the Ministry of Culture, was presented in Cesi in recent months.
In 2022, the planning services for the intervention on the road between Cesi and St.Erasmo, plus the first tranche of communication and enhancement interventions of the village have already been awarded.
In this second phase, notices for the intervention design services have been published for the:
- expansion of the parking lot below the village;
- mechanised routes from the parking lot to the village;
- creation of equipment and services for outdoor sport in the old sports field;
- refurbishment of the Belelli astronomical observatory;
- restructuring of the former clay pigeon shooting area to be used as a service centre for outdoor sports;
- creation of a network of trails, MTB trails, paragliding launching area and the installation of climbing walls;
- recovery of walls and mediaeval towers;
- recovery of the former convent of St.Onofrio, recovery of Stocchi palace and the former church of St. Andrew;
- recovery of the former convent of Mother Francesca Peticca.
