Acquasparta from June 10 to 25 hosts the XXIV edition of "The Renaissance Festival".
For fifteen days, the town at the foot of the Martani Mountains offers a rich calendar of events of historical reenactment, culture, as well as games and gastronomy.
The aim is to celebrate and remember the splendid Renaissance season of Acquasparta starting with the arrival in town of Prince Federico Cesi, founder right here, of the Accademia dei Lincei.
The central theme of the "Festa del Rinascimento 2023," is based on the "Plots," not only those of the precious Renaissance robes flaunted by the Cesi court, but also with regard to the plots of mystery that envelop the historical events of the Accademia dei Lincei and that link current scientific research to the work of the first Lincei.
The "Renaissance Festival" will open on the evening of Saturday, June 10, with the "Grand Procession of the Contrade."
