The first stage of the Mount Martani Tour starts from Cesi (Terre Arnolfe gate) and finishes in Spoleto. The route touches the Carsulae Archeological Park, the villages of Portaria, Macerino, Fogliano, Rapicciano, Mogliano, San Gregorio, Ocinelli, San Venanzo and Pontebari. It winds along secondary roads, some of which are untarmacked. It avoids traffic, practically absent up to Spoleto.
